TCCP

IDYDC will engage partnership with the USAID funded project- TCCP led by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (CCP).

TCCP is working partnership with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare - National AIDS Control Program for AIDS. With TCCP, IDYDC will benefit and improve the 'Social behavior change communication skills to our organization and individuals.

 On 10th, January 2012 IDYDC was visited by Mr. Godfrey Richard - A Training and Mentoring Programme Officer of CCP, who encouraged the organization to join partnership with Tanzania Capacity and Communication Project.

The program officer briefly explained the key objectives and activities of the TCCP and also how our organization will benefit if our staff are trained in ACE Fellowship and ACE Interns.
The organization will further develop the strategy of communication and integrate mass media, community mobilization, interpersonal communication campaigns for HIV, Family Planning, Safe Motherhood, Alcohol harm to youth, OVC/MVC support also Vocational Skills and knowledge to targeted youth.

 IDYDC has acknowledged to present and send its staff for training which is due to begin in June 2012 as shall be scheduled by the organizers.
